The Inaugural University Women Association Book Prize 2026 is established to recognise and honour women scholars who have made significant contributions through the publication of academic books. The award aims to promote excellence in scholarly writing and to encourage intellectual contributions within the academic community.
Objectives
The objectives of this award are:
To recognise outstanding academic book publications by women scholars
To encourage high standards of academic writing and research
To support scholarly contributions that advance knowledge and society
Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
Be a woman academic staff member or researcher
Be the author or co-author of an academic book
The publication must fall within the stipulated eligibility period
Comply with all requirements determined by the organiser
